when God shows up in a place....its not like its un-obvious....come on people! its like you start trembling in awe of the power you are in the midst of.
when God shows up in a place there is no mistaking the peace that comes along with his presence.
its like when your in the middle of a worship song and you feel his presence, its like your transported to a place only you and the Lord know about, its your special place.
last night at youth group, God spoke to a few people directly. i saw it. one person doesn't even come to church...but God broke him down and showed himself to this guy (no names), but anyway, this guy didn't make a big deal about it, he didn't ask for prayer, no one gave him a word from God, but you could just see his ice cold heart melting. it was obvious. i'm happy for him, and hope he comes back. those are special moments to remember. hope he comes back for more.
i'm still needing a holy spirit energy boost cause i'm really tired still. all i wanna do is sleep haha! (im a teenager, what do you expect?) :)
shalom homies,

sometimes...
I'm tired.
wiped out.
exhausted.
drowsy.
burnt.
tired of a lot of things.
sometimes its like getting out of bed is a scary thing. but not getting out is just as scary cause i don't want to miss anything important. i don't know why i feel this way. maybe its because there are a lot of changes ahead of me. scary changes. and sometimes i don't want to face them. its like someone who finds out they have cancer and want to live their life to the fullest, never missing a beat or a thought, embracing life. so they decide to go sky diving. all they have left to do is make that step out of the plane. thats it. but something holds you back.
i am reminded of a verse in Joshua ( a few verses actually) that gives me hope and confidence when i need it most.
"I promise you what i promised Moses: 'Everywhere you go, you will be on the land I have given you.
No one will be able to stand their ground against you as long as you live. for I will be with you as i was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.
I command you- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

un-unique zebras in fake fur. so not fierce but totally not helping the economy.
I understand if you think that zebras are white with black stripes or black with white stripes. but forgive me for not getting, WHY THE POPULATION OF THIS OVER POPULATED, BABY-BOOMING, SAY-ONE-THING-AND-DO-ANOTHER, LAND, continue trying to find a new unique. its all been invented already. i love it when designers say they are reinventing vintage or making retro more retro-ier. you wish. its okay though, whatever makes you more money and helps our economy. now THATS fierce. it'd be nice if that was their intent. to help the economy. nope, just making a name for themselves.
so i was thinking the other day and i decided that my life is a painted picture full of little intricate details that i dare not think to analytically about. deep, i know.
once i got over myself, i realized that i had a booger hanging from my nose. love it.
i feel 3 feet tall now. oh wait...I AM! thanks for those short mexican genes...FATHER.
what do you do with a direct word from God?
run
yeah no not a good idea.
follow it
thats better.
i almost ran one time. didn't turn out too good.
okay i'll stop typing now. but hey before i go......i found these really cool musicians on www.purevolume.com look for "Peachcake"
worth your time.
peace out dawgs.

There's Talk Of A Revival
you know, rumor has it that there is going to be a revival. i believe it.
the world doesn’t like it. why do you think there is so much resistance to Christ?
the world’s philosophy is “don’t let the work of Christ influence you, be your own person.”
when you are your own person, your being exactly who God created you to be. there is no escaping that.
the world hates that.
they’re fighting a battle, and they want to win.
why let them when we have the word of God as our weapon and his anointed armor?
when push comes to shove, who has the power? who created you? who gave you the mind of Christ? who gives peace? who wins battles?
the world’s revival is one of political promises and new ideas.
switch it up a lot and turn it around.
use your feet to walk to those dark places and shed light
open up your mouth to speak, led by the Holy Spirit
use your hands to care
i dare you.
finish the revival God has planted in your heart.

Cleansed
Unified as one whole body,
we offer up these praises to our King
We offer up this worship to our King
Our beautiful King
Our wonderful King
The holy King
Save us Father from ourselves
And replace it with your Selflessness
Free us Saviour
From the Bondage in our hearts
Take all the secrets from within
And replace them with your love, again
Lord with all of our whole beings
We dedicate our lives up to you
No more listening and forgetting
Our hearts are sensitive to your words
Your wonderful words

Vegan and Drinking Sprite...

Well, the last week of June to the first week of July has been one crazy and hectic time period filled with everything but sleep. It's okay though cause i tend to work best under pressure and zero sleep. don't ask why. Anyway, i got back on Saturday from LA working with the community. feeding food to the hungry, getting kisses from old ladies, pretending i understand Spanish, and stepping over an iguana on the stairs to get to an apartment, ya know, stuff like that. What really got me was the fact that i went to Disney Land during a missions trip. Good stuff. Rumor says Captain Hook needs Jesus. ...?
I must say...it was really hard not eating In N' Out while i was in California. so....i cheated. sorry! yeah, i even had a soda BUT i took two sips and threw it out cause it made me feel sick and there was no way i wouldn't eat that In N' Out juicy burger. ok it makes me sick thinking about it....cause as soon as i ate the burger...yeah you know where I'm going....never again. ugh.
As soon as I got back from California, my dad, who went with me, informed me we needed to start working on our new food truck ministry. ok before i go on, let me explain: Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon are the two hungriest cities in the U.S.) with that said, my dad was lead by the Holy Spirit to start a food truck ministry to feed the hungry, not homeless. in Clark County. crazy dream, but doable! totally! so since i got back I've been getting details worked out for that.
oh by the way, were also starting a youth ministry in our garage....with the Lord's help!
My mother informed me yesterday that my good friend Daisy Bosaz is taking me to get my nose pierced for my birthday at a place by my house called Dark Star. I'M SO EXCITED! I've been bugging the snot out of my parents to let me get one. and my day has come! yes. I'm so lucky!
stay tuned for more news from your favorite veggie 8P
Morgan (soon to be cooler with a nose ring)
