of my temperament.

Take Two:
"With or without you I will still fly," Said the owl.
"un-be-trayable un-be-lieveable ," Said I.
"Mocs and knapsack needed," Said the owl.
"One step ahead of you," Said I.

Take Three:
"TAKE YOUR FEATHER QUILL," Said the owl.
"In the sack," Said I.
"and your keys of ivory," Said the owl.

VIDA'S ARK

Dear Friends and Family!
As most of you know, I'm a senior at Hudson's Bay (WOOT WOOT)! Recently I heard about a non-profit organization right across the street from Hudson's Bay called Vida's Ark that houses homeless pregnant and teen mothers. It was founded by a teacher and Teen Case Manager, Julie Hanke. She has a heart for providing a safe place for these teen moms. Many of these teens have come from a background of abuse. They had no idea what it was like to be in a truly safe environment; a HOME until they moved into Vida's Ark.
Although Vida's Ark has a few very generous donors, not EVERY need can be met by them. I've decided to partner with Julie and take some of the strenuous work load from her by encouraging others to support her organization by donating specific items and by praying for the Lord's blessing upon Vida's Ark.

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN!
Vida's Ark has a garage they are turning into a resource center for the moms and their children to hang out as well as swap or trade gently used items for other new or gently used items. It will be called The Lighthouse, so appropriate since it will truly be a way to witness to these teen parents. BUT! The Lighthouse needs to be furnished and filled up. (BELOW IS A LIST OF ITEMS THE LIGHTHOUSE NEEDS). I know that the Lord will provide for this organization and bless the efforts and impact it's making. If you feel led to donate, please do so! You can donate a variety of ways:
1. You can go to www.vidasark.org and click on their "donate" link to make a financial donation
2. Drop your donation off at Hudson's Bay or Vida's Ark
3. Or you can contact me and we can arrange a pick up location.

If you have any questions or know of any other possible individuals that would be willing to donate, you can e-mail me: morganquinonez@hotmail.com

or call 360.907.9231

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter. I hope that you are lead to lift up this organization in your prayers.
May the Lord bless you,
Morgan

urban eccentric

during my day of antiquing with marcy, one of my goals was to find a cool material to reupholster the chair i picked up off the side of the street in portland a few weeks ago. thankfully, the urban eccentric (downtown on main) had some cool vintage fabrics. i chose this one.

and today is

a day of manifestation.
it came through the back door, definitely.
it's crazaaaaay!
makes me start screaming, but the noise comes out as a laugh.

oh, the ironies of life.
Dear: subject of my epiphany,
with you i am happy
without you i am happy
makes a good neutral.
not profound in the least,
too simple for you.
may you bless someone else in their manifestation.
you ARE a blessing.

please serenade me

I would love for anyone to sing "Middle Distance Runner" to me. with a guitar. and a voice from Heaven. Sea Wolf is beautiful.

getting down to business

i am...
starting a business.
going on meda-fast (stoked).
getting used to being dependent on the Lord. Not a fun process all the time.
growing up.
thinking about this coming school year.
thanking God he met me on the other side.
facing my fears.
wondering about where Father wants me to use my giftings.
trying not to be such a butt-headed jerk.
in love. with life. <3
